This book grabs you from the very beginning and does not let you go until you way after the end, as you sit there trying to process the full extent of what you have just read.. For someone like me who is not a huge fan of murder thrillers this book delivered a lot more than I was expecting. The character and plot development was just superb and each chapter had that little hook to drag you further into the story. I am not going to go into the storyline here because I don't want to ruin or diminish any of the impact of this first rate story for the reader.This book for me once again highlights to me all that is good about Indie authors and that is a vibrant and creative revolution of the publishing industry. I look forward to diving into more of this authors offerings in the near future.

You people should just read this book yourselves and write your own review on this novel yourself and I really enjoyed reading this book very much so. Shelley MA
Fast. Edgy. Kinda' Funny. Ridiculous WICKED.
I started reading this book with the Intent to occupy my time during my kids practices. So much for that plan; This book consumed my life! Once I started reading, I only ever stopped out of necessity. Trust me, there's no need to scroll thru additional reviews; READ THIS BOOK--you won't be disappointed.
The story was adequate, if not convoluted at times. Ending a bit of a surprise, but not a stretch. However, it is apparent that the author has NEVER set foot in New Orleans in his entire life, and more than likely never even had a conversation with another individual who has... Why on earth would you set your story in a very specific location, then make up names of streets, bars, neighborhoods, parishes, and other locations/descriptions that do not exist? Why not set it in an unknown place? To me, this was extremely lame, and I certainly will not be reading anything else he writes
Night Slashers carries you along its muddied and unsettling path, with characters that seem both real and concocted at the same time. It's a head-scratcher that will stay with you well after the final page.
I found the use of self-questioning a bit over done.
In New Orleans, Daniel Montague is co owner to a popular after hours business. He's a plastic surgeon. With a lucrative career, good friends and a beautiful wife, one could say he has it all. But as we all know, a life filled with glitter is not always gold. When the return of an old friend begins to turn his world upside down, Daniel attempts to cling on to his sanity and the secret he's tried so hard to bury has come to light, and with it, a price to be paid.
I was introduced to this book by the author and was glad I took the opportunity to read it. I was intrigued from the first chapter and honestly, I had a hard time putting it down. I liked playing the "guessing game" and loved the authors descriptive story telling...so much that I could picture the scenes as if it was a movie I was watching.
The only down side...It was a little too fast paced for me. I wanted to get to know the characters more. perhaps, as the series continues, I'll get more of that.
I read this book during the late hours while the house was quiet...perfect setting for this murder mystery.
I knew I should've stopped reading when the author spelled "chauvinistic" as shovanistic. The writing was awful. Every character did weird actions such as sneering, snickering, clicking teeth, and rolling eyes. Sometimes the action didn't even fit the emotion or dialogue. I don't like writing negative reviews but I can't believe this author said writing is in his blood. Maybe it is, but he needs a really good editor.
As others have mentioned, the storyline towards the end is really not fulfilling and leaves you with a "wtf" feeling, and not in a good way.
Night Slashers what can I say about you that will convince others of your greatness?
Could it be your excellent pacing?
Your intricate detail? The marvelous plot that grabs you by the collar, shakes you violently and dares you to walk away?
Night Slashers has to be the best book by Rashad Freeman and one of the best suspense/thriller novels that I have read in my life. From the first page to the last every detail is carefully woven into a magnificent tapestry that will delight you, this story gains a life all its own and sucks you into its inner workings. At times visceral and others contemplative Night Slashers strikes the delicate balance between revelation and mystery; forcing you deeper into the rabbit hole searching for the truth.
If you are looking for a great read that will take you on a roller coaster ride leaving you out of breath when you finish; get this book.
